SUICIDE SILENCE Shares Music Video For 'Make Your Exit' From Upcoming 'Graceless' Album

California deathcore act SUICIDE SILENCE has shared the official Nathan Karma Cox-directed music video for the song "Make Your Exit". The track is taken from the band's upcoming album, "Graceless", which is set for release on November 20 via Century Media.

SUICIDE SILENCE helped drag deathcore from garages, message boards, and sweat-soaked rooms into the modern extreme metal bloodstream. Since their first rumblings in California’s Inland Empire, the band has made its logo synonymous with a volatile fusion of death metal violence, hardcore confrontation, and unapologetic bounce. They carried that mutation from underground rooms to world tours with genre giants like KORN, SLAYER, MEGADETH, CANNIBAL CORPSE, LAMB OF GOD and BEHEMOTH.

"The Cleansing", "No Time to Bleed" and "The Black Crown" are canon albums, inseparable from the rise of modern extreme music. "You Only Live Once", with over 150 million plays on YouTube alone, is a stone-cold anthem, a calling card for SUICIDE SILENCE's bounce, brutality, and guttural heaviness.

On "Graceless", guitarists Chris Garza and Mark Heylmun, bassist Dan Kenny, vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida and drummer Ernie Iniguez pull every era forward with renewed hunger. Seasoned but unsoftened, SUICIDE SILENCE remains vicious and instinctive. They've survived grief, reinvention, backlash and mythmaking without mistaking endurance for safety. "Graceless" is the circle closing with sharpened teeth, and the sound of deathcore’s most recognizable survivors hungry for fresh conquest.

SUICIDE SILENCE remains stubbornly communal. They have always written best with bodies in a room, amps cranked, and friendly arguments evolving into arrangements. That collective instinct gives "Graceless" its strange comfort amid the chaos. It is vicious, ugly, physical, immediate, and fully inhabited by a band that survived every argument about what it was supposed to be.

As Garza puts it, the goal was to "just get out of the way and serve that band logo. When we choose to do that, great things follow. We're back to doing it exactly as we did it when we were kids: just playing heavy shit and doing it from the heart."

Deathcore was once a word thrown at them as a limit. Today it's a flag planted in the dirt. Twenty-four years after their first noise from SoCal, SUICIDE SILENCE stands in rare company: survivors who never mistook endurance for safety, craftsmen more than capable of making instinct sound like impact. SUICIDE SILENCE will embark on the "Reminders Of Hell Tour" this fall. Support on the trek, which will launch on November 6 in Riverside, California and conclude on December 13 in Los Angeles, California, will come from EMMURE, ANGELMAKER and SYNESTIA.

SUICIDE SILENCE's seventh album, "Remember... You Must Die", was released in March 2023 via Century Media. The LP was produced and mixed by Taylor Young (NAILS, XIBALBA, VITRIOL). For the artwork, the band enlisted renowned necrosurrealist artist David Van Gough to visualize the concept.

SUICIDE SILENCE's longtime drummer Alex Lopez exited the band in April 2022. Ernie Iniguez, who recorded drums on SUICIDE SILENCE's "Become The Hunter" album, has been sitting behind the kit for the band for the past four years.

This past January, SUICIDE SILENCE announced it had recruited Ian Waye (SOREPTION) to fill in on guitar for Chris Garza while the latter guitarist was taking "hiatus" from the group.

In addition to playing for SUICIDE SILENCE, Garza is well known as the host of "The Garza Podcast", where he interviews other musicians about metal history, culture and creativity.

SUICIDE SILENCE's lineup has seen several changes over the years, but key members have included Garza, Mark Heylmun (guitar),Mitch Lucker (vocals),Dan Kenny (bass) and Alex Lopez (drums).

Vocalist Hernan "Eddie" Hermida (ALL SHALL PERISH) joined SUICIDE SILENCE in 2013 following the passing of frontman Mitch Lucker. Mitch died on November 1, 2012 after sustaining injuries in a motorcycle crash in Huntington Beach.
